Nuspel, Ethel. Age 96. September 20, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mother of Frank S. (Beloved daughter in-law the late Cindy), Kathleen (Thomas) Muntter, and Robert. Dearest grandmother of Susan and Ken Kozlowski; Frank M., and Craig Nuspel; Eric, Chris, Kevin, Laurie, and Thomas Jr. Muntter. Great grandmother of Dylan, Macie, Morgan and Alexis Muntter. Also survived by many nieces. Visitation Tuesday 5:30 - 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack, at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Funeral Wednesday instate 9:30 am until time of Mass 10:00 am at Assumption Grotto Catholic Church 13770 Gratiot, Detroit. Rosary Tuesday 8:00 pm. Early on Ethel and Frank were members of the Carpathia German Club for over 25 years. Ethel was a avid reader, she loved jigsaw and crossword puzzles. She was an excellent cook, baker and all around homemaker. In 1957 Frank lost his job due to Packard going out of business. This forced Ethel to find work at the University Of Detroit to raise her children. In all kinds of weather she took 2 buses to the University at Livernois and McNichols for 15 years.
