Eva Anna Drescher

Eva Anna Drescher, age 88, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. She was born on August 19, 1930 in Kleinbetschkerek, Romania; the daughter of Nikolaus and Anna Gross. Eva in her younger years loved to travel with her family and was a Detroit red Wings fan for well over 30 years. Family recounts the many fabulous dinners she would cook for the family and friends. Many of the vegetables came straight from her garden that she spent hours on her hands and knees maintaining. Eva is the beloved wife of the late Andreas. They were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan, on September 23, 1961. She is also the loving mother of Walter and Gerhard. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Christopher, Robert, Nicholas, and Eva. Sister of Nikolaus (Katharina) Gross. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Rosary Friday 6:30 pm. Instate will be held on Saturday from 10:30 am until time of funeral Mass 11:00 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Road, Warren. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. Memorials to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
