Frances Julia Gucwa was born April 4, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan and entered into rest August 8, 2016 in Grosse Pointe woods, Michigan at the age of 84. She was the loving wife of John and beloved mother of Kathleen, Charles (Renee), Joseph (Teresa) and the late Linda Wallis. Frances was grandmother to Tom, Megan, Amanda and Connor and great-grandmother of Josephine, Noah and Taylor. Francis was a volunteer at the resale shop at the Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church and also at St Hubert Catholic Church. Visitation Thursday 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Funeral Friday; instate 9:30 am until time of mass 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores 4808 Donations may be made to Beaumont Hospice or St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
