Frank Joseph Grabner

Frank Joseph Grabner, a resident of St. Clair Shores, passed away on Thursday, July 25, at the age of 81. A son of Frank and Elizabeth (nee Radina), he was born on July 11, 1938 in Detroit. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and made his career as an aircraft mechanic for the Air Force and an equipment specialist for the Army. He was a member of the AMVETS Post 29, past Commander of the American Legion Post 4, and a member of The Old Crowd. Frank enjoyed traveling, particularly to Florida. He loved boating and spending time with his grandchildren. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Pochert), joined in love for 54 years. Loving father of Lisa (Mike) Monette, Eric (Andrea Moore), and Sarah. Cherished grandfather of Olivia, Abby, Grace, Nickolas, Andrew, and Jacob. Dear brother of Edward and Charles. A visitation will take place on Monday, July 29, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods, 48236. Frank will lie in state on Tuesday, July 30, from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 22915 Greater Mack., St. Clair Shores, 48080. Entombment will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
