Franklin L. Williams, Sr. was born October 21, 1941 in Beckley, West Virginia to Clyde and Mary Williams. Shortly after serving in the Marine Corp, he moved to Michigan, later becoming a longtime resident of Sterling Heights. He enjoyed a 30+ year career for Chrysler, and was a Mason member. Franklin entered into rest July 8, 2017 in Troy, Michigan. He loved to spend time up north, fishing, hunting or just target shooting. He often traveled to his cabin in Baldwin to enjoy nature and just relax. He was a skilled craftsman and worked with both leather and wood as a hobby, the family has many pieces of his work. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 52 years Ruth; children Franklin Jr. (Lisa), Rebecca (Jerry) Meyer, Paul (Kari). He was extremely proud of his grandchildren Sean, Alyson, Kyle, Reid, Gabriel, Jessica, Erik, and Zane. He is also survived by his sister Marsha Wolf, an aunt Barbara Mastalski, nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.
