George Steven Blanton, Sr., age 59 of Warren, passed away November 11, 2015. He was born in Grosse Pointe on October 27, 1956; the son of George Calloway and Betty Lou (nee Osborne) Blanton. Beloved husband of Carolyn for 40 years. Loving father of Jason (Mona), Joseph (Theresa M.) and George Jr. (Theresa R.). Treasured grandfather of 10. Dear brother of Cecilia (the late Roger) Epley, Monique (Andy) Khula and the late Scott and Betty Busch. Brother-in-law of Judi Blanton and Greg Busch. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. George's family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. A service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 3:00pm at the funeral home. Pastor J. Wayne Terry will officicate.
