George Alexander Christoff

George A. Christoff died Sunday November 1, 2009 at Shelby Nursing Home. George was 86 years old. He was born to the late Sando and Draga Christoff June 5, 1923 in Detroit Michigan. He married his wife Barbara Jean (nee Carter) September 16, 1948 in Detroit. George was employed with GM for 20 years and retired as a model maker. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, an avid golfer and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during WW II. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Marcia(James) Gagnon and Susan Christoff, grandchildren Renee (Paul) Hays, Paul Gagnon and Marielle "Molly"Gagnon also one great-granddaughter Trinity Hays. Visitation at the A.H.Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (131/2 Mile Rd.) Warren Wednesday from 2pm until 9pm. Funeral Service Thursday at Cross Lutheran Church, 35851 Utica Rd., Clinton Township, Instate 10:00 am until time of Service at 11:00 am.
