George Robert Olsavsky

George Robert Olsavsky died on Friday, April 8, 2016. He was born on April 22, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. The son of Michael and Anna Olsavsky. George was a shop painter and worked for Detroit Engineering for 28 years and retired from Ex-Cell-O Corporation in 1994. He was a 35 year member of the Hunter's Club at the Carpathia Club in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Beloved husband of Theresia for 39 years and the late Margaret, she died on April 17, 1972. Loving father of Judy (John) Pulse, Josef (Teri) Olsavsky and the late Pat Olsavsky. Proud grandfather of David (Sheryl) White, Jill (Luke) Landriani, Shannon Salliotte, Scott Salliotte, Michelle Olsavsky and Michael Olsavsky. Survived by numerous great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Mary Ganski and the late Joe Olsavsky. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and family members. Visitation Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 3:00pm until 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Hunter's Club service and Rosary at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial contributions to American Heart Association would be appreciated by the family.
