Gertrude M. Hass, age 89, died August 16, 2011 at Autumn Woods Nursing Home, Warren. MI. Gertrude was born April 25, 1922 in Montreal, Wisconsin to the late Peter and Amelia Kucyk. Gertrude was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse working in many of the local hospitals. She loved gardening and enjoyed cooking traditional Polish food and dancing. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband Arthur B. She is survived by her children; Glenn (Janet), Gail (Jerry) Featherstone, Deborah (Stephen) Webb and Terri (Scott) Tinlin, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister to Helen Malkowski, Donald (Nancy) Kucyk, Jan (Harvey) Pierce and the late Edwin, Herbert and Monsignor Herman Kucyk. Visitation is Thursday 4PM-8PM and Friday 2PM-8PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic) Warren. Funeral service Saturday 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East.
