Grandpa, I sit here and reflect on all the great memories I have of you and there are just too many to describe. I am blessed to have such a genuine, compassionate, and kind-hearted spirit to watch over me now. Jake always teased that your handshakes seemed to hold on forever, and now we wish that your hand was still there to hold. We are thankful that your suffering has been replaced with peace comfort. You may have left our lives in the physical presence, but your spirit will live on forever. Mitchell will grow up to know that his "Pippy" was such a wonderful man. Bud, I remember all the Thanksgiving Day parades with the cousins bundled up sitting on the curb of Woodward Avenue. When you picked up your harmonica to sing and play "Lovesick Blues what sweet music". You truly were a down to Earth gentle spirit. Keep watch over your family. Muriel

I remember when we first moved in my son could not get the fence open and Bud showed him how to open it. Since then everytime they saw him they spoke and every summer he gave us the beautiful tomatoes he grow. Going to miss the neighborly love he always showed.
