McNelis, Gladys "Pinky", age 86 of Grosse Pointe and formerly Trenton, MI, passed away March 27, 2013. She was born in Bakerton, Pennsylvania on October 2, 1926; the daughter of William and Bertha (nee Selby) Wiseman. Beloved wife of James I. for 63 years. They were married in Hastings, Pennsylvania on June 27, 1949. Gladys graduated from Penn State which is where she and James met. Dear mother of James W., Christopher J., Scott (Kathy), Philip K. (Julia), and Michael P. Grandmother of Michael J., Staci, Kyle, James, and William. Also survived by brother William Wiseman of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Mrs. McNelis was formerly with Coldwell Banker Realty of Trenton, Michigan. She enjoyed spending time with the Grand Marais Garden Club, the Presbyterian Women's Mission Sewing Group, the Grosse Pointe Garden Club, and was a dedicated Tigers fan. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
