Gloria Tallerico

Gloria Tallerico died April 22, 2015 at age 93 in St. Clair Shores. She was a longtime resident of Grosse Pointe Woods; she was the loving wife of the late John Tallerico Sr. for 67 years. Born to Mary and Peter Battani in Detroit on December 24, 1921. She grew up in a large Italian family. She married John and became a housewife and mother. They had two sons John Jr. (Jan) and Randall (Siglinde). She was the proud grandmother of Nicholas, Tessa, Christoph and Claire. She and John were longtime members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church of St. Clair Shores. Gloria and John enjoyed golf and cards both here and in Florida. They were members of the Lochmoor Club and Boca Raton Country Club. Gloria was a member of the Fontbonne Society at St. John's Hospital. Visitation Monday 2-9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm. at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Instate 9:30 am Tuesday until time of Mass 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores. Father Richard Bartoszek will officiate.
