Grace P. Stewart

Grace Patricia Stewart, age 83, passed away October 1, 2016. She was born in Detroit on March 10, 1933; the daughter of John and Josephine (nee Ziaja) Bartkowiak. Grace was fastidious in appearance and always put her best foot forward. She was a beautiful lady and will be remembered for her class and elegance. Grace is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Loving mother of Kevin Stewart, David Stewart and Jason (Elyse) Stewart. Treasured grandmother of Ryan (Claire) Stewart, PFC Alissa Stewart and Jon-Ryan Stewart. Dear sister of Don (Ronnie) Bartkowiak and the late John Bartkowiak, Joe Bartkowiak and Shirley Vettese. She is also survived by many caring nieces and nephews. Grace's family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6th from 2:00pm until time of service 7:00pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. A committal service will take place Friday, October 7th at 11:00am at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated by the family.
