Brooks, Harold E., age 85, November 14, 2011. He was born in Dayton, Ohio to Ira and Emma Brooks. Harold was a WWII Veteran and an avid golfer. Beloved husband of Eva Lois for 65 years. Loving father of Kimberly, the late Larry, and father-in-law of Sue. Grandfather of Christie (Jim) Renaud and Kelly. Great-grandfather of Maya, Luke, and Miles. Brother of Charles (the late Lucille), Hershal (Mary), Dorothy (the late Jim) Reese, and the late Helen (the late Joe) Kimmel. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Instate Friday, November 18, 2011 from 10:00 am until time of funeral 11:00 am at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 17017 Twelve Mile Rd, Roseville, MI 48066. Interment Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery. Memorials to American Heart Association or to Cornerstone Baptist Church would be appreciated.
