Harold John Padesky

Harold was born In LaCrosse, Wisconsin on September 27, 1918, son of John and Rose Padesky. He moved to Grosse Pointe, Michigan in 1963. He was a Plant Manager of Bundy Tubing then later as General Manager in the cable division of Merit Plastics. Mr. Padesky was an active member of St. Philomena Parish for 46 years. He was involved in the Grosse Pointe Men's Garden Club along with the Senior Men's Club of Grosse Pointe. His hobbies included golf, gardening, birding and reading. He was a true Engineer. During WWII Harold was a Lieutenant in the Navy serving in North Africa and then the Bureau of Aeronautics in Washington DC. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will truly be missed. He leaves behind his adoring wife Angela "Angel". He was very proud of his children Mary Beltz (W. Thomas), John (Catherine), Michael (Rosemary), and Dr. Joseph (Loni). He was the proud grandfather of Ellen Maturen, John, William Beltz, Michael Beltz, Paul, Ann, Cory and Casey. He was the great grandfather of Bryan and Alexander Beltz. He was the brother of Robert and the late Richard. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:30 - 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. A scripture service will be recited at 7:00 pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 am at St. Philomena Catholic Church 4281 Marseilles in Detroit. Monsignor Peter Lentine will officiate.
