

Harriet Hall Redlin was born in 1922 and died on December 20, 2014 in Grosse Pointe Shores. She was the daughter of Lelia and Glenn Hall of Convoy, Ohio. Mrs. Redlin attended Western College for Women Oxford, Ohio and the Vogue School of Design and Styling in Chicago, Illinois Mrs. Redlin enjoyed being a homemaker, leaving time for volunteer work in the community which included St. John Hospital, American Red Cross and League for the Handicap. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children Michael Hall Redlin (Dawn) and daughter Rachel Redlin Kurtz; grandchildren, James H. Kurtz III (Jennifer) and Heidi Redlin Kurtz, David Redlin (Hillary), Deborah Redlin Betz (Eric) and four great-grandchildren; Hannah and Naomi Betz, Zachery J. Redlin and Ethan Redlin, also a step-granddaughter Kathleen Peterson (Rohan). Harriet was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Redlin in 1996 and her son-in-law James Kurtz in 2012. The summers were spent at Walloon Lake, Michigan where they entertained the children and grandchildren for twenty-five years. Memorial visitation will be Friday December 26th 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. John Hospital Foundation, 19251 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Michigan, Suite 102, 48236.
