Helen I. Brisson (Nee Zahar) was born October 5, 1917 in Detroit and entered into rest June 6, 2013 at the age of 95. Helen was the loving wife of the late Roger and dearest mother of Fr. Robert Brisson, Denise Brisson, Michael Brisson and Thomas (Cynthia) Brisson. She was the beloved sister of Georgette Zahar and the late Josephine Glaza (Nee Zahar) and Joseph Zahar. Visitation Monday 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with rosary at 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods, 48236. Funeral Tuesday; instate 9:30 am until time of mass 10:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 467 Fairford Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
