FISHER, HELEN RUTH Age 91 Died at home February 9, 2012. Loving wife of Charles E. for 67 years. Dear mother of Joanne Fisher and Deborah Culyer (Gary). Mrs. Fisher was a Graduate of Oberlin College and taught kindergarten for several years in St. Clair and Detroit, Michigan. She was a former member of the board of directors Metro Detroit Girl Scouts. Helen was a Sunday school teacher and Altar Guild Member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Detroit; also a teacher at First English Evangelical Lutheran Church cooperative pre-school, Grosse Pointe Woods. She was a life member of Grand Marais Questers, Grosse Pointe Chapter. A memorial service will take place 12 noon Saturday March 3 at the A. H.
