Helen Therese Fox, (nee Brandel) passed away peacefully on January 21, 2020 at age 91. She was the daughter of Katharyn and Leonard Brandel and was born in Detroit on December 13, 1928. She is survived by her 5 children, Kathy (Richard) Alfonsi of St. Louis, MO; Patrick, Jr. (Chris) Fox of Atlanta, GA; Mary (Michael) Farley of Grosse Pointe, MI; Marty (Deborah) Fox of Edmund, OK and Thomas (Rosemary) Fox of Bloomfield Hills, MI. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Patrick Joseph Fox; and daughter Beth Ann. She was the loving and proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Helen enjoyed many pursuits including bridge, golf, bowling and cooking. She volunteered for several years at Sts. Peter and Paul Warming Center in Detroit and served as a Eucharistic Minister at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at noon. St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, 157 Lake Shore Rd.,

Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236.
