Homer A. Hogan went home to be with our Lord on July 14, 2014, at the age of eighty after succumbing to complications related to Parkinson's' Disease. Homer was a devoted family man. He cherished his wife, Shirley, of fifty seven years. Homer was a loving son-in-law of Margaret, doting father of Terry, adoring grandfather of Kristen and Alysia, and caring brother of Mildred. Homer was a patient soul and had a generous and giving spirit. His compassion shown to others throughout his life extended beyond his beloved and treasured family to those fortunate enough to call him friend. His legacy of family, faith, unconditional love, and generosity will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. A memorial service is being planned for a later date with interment in Manistee, Michigan.
