YASH, IRENE M. February 20, 2012 Age 84 Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Dearest mother of Donna Kowalczyk (Randall). Loving Babcia of Zachary and the late Adam. Survived by her second daughter, Linda. Also survived by her sister Aurelia. Predeceased by her brother Alphonse. She will be dearly missed by her partner, Rhett Butler. In state Saturday 10 am until time of funeral Mass 11 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church 15400 Hampton, Grosse Pointe Park. Private interment White Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Yash was a member of S.O.C, the D.I.A and the D.S.O. Irene cherished the time she spent with her grandson, Zachary. Dog sitting and gardening were favorite passtimes. She enjoyed going to different restaurants, especially the opportunity to sample the fare at new restaurants when they opened. Theatrical plays and art exhibits always appealed to her. Shows at the Fox Theatre and the Detroit Opera House were favorites.
