Ivory Belle, just shy of 10 months old, left this world far too soon—but not without leaving behind a light that will never dim. From the moment she was born, Ivory brought joy, laughter, and love into every space she entered. Her bright eyes and radiant smile told the world she was ready and willing for it all, bringing nothing but pure joy and excitement.
Ivory was a joyful baby—curious, easygoing, and full of life. Though she had a bashful side, her sweet and outgoing spirit quickly began to shine. With each passing day, her personality blossomed, touching everyone around her. She loved playing patty-cake—her clap game was Olympic-level. She was always babbling, with “Dada” being her first word and favorite melody. She filled the spaces around her with the captivating sounds that only come from the pure and innocent heart of a child.
She adored being around others and being involved in any and all activities. But no one captured her heart like her big sisters, Alaeyah and Jacie. They were endlessly proud to be her sisters—gentle, loving, and always by her side. In their short time together, Ivory looked up to them, was inspired by them, and learned the most from her guiding sisters. Their bond was deep and beautiful—filled with snuggles, giggles, and tender moments that will be cherished forever.
Ivory had a keen awareness of the world around her. She loved being outside—crawling in the grass, playing in the water, going for family walks, admiring the colors and critters, and most of all, soaking in the calming, fresh air. Her curiosity was boundless, and her attention to the intricate details all around her was heartwarming and full of hope.
Though her time here was brief, the mark she left is eternal. Ivory Belle was a ray of sunshine, a source of joy, and a living reminder of how precious and beautiful life is. Her laugh, her smile, and the sparkle in her eyes will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will always be our baby girl—her sisters’ guardian, our motivation, our heart, our star, our joy, and our peace.
Ivory is survived by her loving parents, Caitlyn and Justin Deneau; her adoring big sisters, Alaeyah and Jacie; her cherished grandparents, Mandy and Aaron Smith, Gloria and Philip Vasile, Jefferey Deneau, and Anna Schmidt; and her beloved great-grandparents, Suzann Cruce, Karen and the late Ronald Deneau, Eric and Michelle Keary, Lee and the late Carol Vasile, and Michael and Delain McManemy.
A visitation for Ivory will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan 48236, followed by a funeral service at 3:30 PM.
