James F. Groth, age 88, died on Thursday, July 16, 2015. James is a United States Navy Veteran. He is the beloved husband of Eleanor for 66 years. Dear sibling of 5 sister and 1 brother. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Scripture service 7:00 pm. Instate Monday, July 20, 2015 from 10:30 am until time of funeral Mass 11:00 am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 East 14 Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Interment with military honors will be on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 9:30 am at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen would be appreciated.
