James Neal Head

James Neal Head Jr., age 75 of Sterling Heights, passed away July 2, 2017. He was born in Detroit on June 26, 1942; the son of James Neal Sr. and Rita Head. James was a longtime and dedicated inspector for the City of Warren. He loved to listen to Elvis and tinker around his house and garage. Among many things, he will be most remembered for his funny, jokester ways and his happy, spirited nature. He is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Beloved husband of the late Karen. Loving father of Kimberly Leszczynski, James (Jennifer) Head, Kurt Head and Jason (Yvette) Head. Treasured grandfather of Jarrod & Jaclyn Leszczynski, Erika & Lauren Head, and Cameron & Connor Head. James is survived by his siblings; Rita Oxendine, Patricia Kish, Robert Head, Donald (Gayle) Head, the late Mary Carr, and the late Rick Head. Caring son-in-law of Muriel Ronayne. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 10th from 9:30 AM until time of Mass 10:00 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 12509 19 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Salvation Army, or to Children's Hospital of Michigan would be appreciated.
