Dear Kaye and family, we are so sorry to hear about Jim He was a wonderful man a great neighbor and a good friend. Jim and I used to compete at the gardening and he always said my tomatoes were much better than his and that my dirt was much better than his. We always shared the fruits of our gardening but the truth always was that I could barely keep up with him even at half his age. he was a wonderful man and always referred to us as the farmers of the neighborhood. He treated us like family and loved my daughter like she was one of his. He even put up with all of my dogs including Dutchy who would storm the fence whenever we let her out. It was a sad day when we moved from that house on Woodcrest and our house went in disrepair. I always felt guilty for leaving and have never had neighbors as great as those on both sides of us the Healy's and The Muirs. Our hearts and our prayers are with you all and Dutchy will be looking for Jim in Heaven. Love Matt & Becky Naidow

It is with regret that I must write these words of condolences. Jim was a great friend of our family in Port Franks. My father and mother will miss him dearly. He always presented such great passion for life and spiritual humility. I shall personally miss our long conversations on life, work and everything.

I would like to extend the condolences of my extended family for your loss of Jim Healy. He was a very uprighteous and holy man. The last time I had the opportunity to speak with him, was at a funeral home, some ten years ago. He worked with my Dad, the late Charles Gnaster, and I have fond memories of many trips to Canada to build the family cottage there. I would like to stop by this afternoon to pay my respects, but I've been under the weather. I will surely have Masses said for the repose of his soul, by the Capuchins in Detroit. God Bless you all.

I know Mr Healy was a great husband father grandfather and friend to many. I am certain he touched many people lives because I know he touched my life very deeply. A man of conviction, faith, persitance, dicipline,HARD WORKER, love, family,etc I could go on and on. I would have loved to have worked or fought becide you. I loved this man like my own father. You will never be forgoten Mr. Healy not in my life time. with all the respect in the world Randy & Cheryl Shank and family.

What can I say about an uncle who epitomized family? Your vibrant love of life and family will always be an inspiration to me. You will be missed.
