James T. Hicks

Mr. James T. Hicks, age 74, of Warren, went home to be with the Lord, December 23, 2017. Beloved husband of Nancy Hicks; loving father of Lynn (Kathy) Hicks, Jerry (Charlotte) Hicks, Tommy (Melissa) Hicks, Angie (Louie) Cyr, Jimmy (Gretchen) Hicks, Scott (Jill) Hicks, Angie Hayworth, Jennifer (Dan) Dillon, honorary - Beth and Ina Ring, Selvin Chevez; proud grandfather of Orrin, Amber, Kayla, Jeremy, Jonathon, Lindsey, Rachel, Meagan, Cody, Jesse, Rhian, Colin, Nathan, Andrew, Caleb, Adam, Sam, Luke, Lily, Cole, Sophia, honorary- Marina and Kaitlyn; great-grandfather of Daylen, Kayson, Zachary, Kalliope, and Layla; also many step-grandchildren; dear brother of Bob, Victor, and Ken Jr.. Preceded by parents: James, and Welthia Hicks; sibling: Billy, Bonnie Lane, Don, Jack, Carl, Johnny; grandchild: Zachary. James was a mechanic and worked in tree service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, telling stories, going to garage sales, and was everybodys fix it for anything. He was a faithful Christian man. The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-9 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic, Warren. Service Thursday 12 noon at Great Lakes Christian Church, 3421 Chicago, Warren, 48092. Instate Thursday 11 am at the church.
