Jane was a radiant soul with a smile that could light up the darkest room. Her voice was like music, bringing warmth and joy wherever she went. Jane was the heart of every gathering, always sparkling with an inner light that touched everyone around her. She had an incredible sense of style, a boundless kindness, and an endlessly creative spirit. Her presence was a gift, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her. I miss her and will always remember her.

This is been about 12 years since she’s passed away and I remember her every day. This song Jane by Barenaked Ladies always brings up laughter in his sadness to me and I were best friends all through high school. We did everything together. She brought me to my first bar, she gave me confidence and who I was and she was so much fun to be around. We used to dress up in all of her mom‘s beautiful modeling clothes and drive around in her spunky little car. That barely made it to every place that we went.  we were on Gratiot one night and she introduced me to a guy named Jerry that was friends with her boyfriend. He eventually became my husband of 26 years. I talked to her on and off during our 20s 30s and 40s. But we did loose a little bit of touch during that timeframe.  I had my four children to work with and Jane was kind of a lone star. She was always there when I needed her and she needed me. I remember meeting up with her to take the kids to a park in Grosse Pointe which we sat and chatted and laughed about our high school years together.  I think it was a couple days before she passed away, she was calling me  to  leave a messages and of course because I was so preoccupied I miss her messages. I think about her when  I hear certain songs that we used to listen to like poison, Barenaked Ladies, and one of my favorites  bust a move. I will always cherish the time and memories we had, love you Jane❤️

OMG. I only just found this out this morning. Jane was my first love all the way back to when we met in 1989. My heart saddens from learning this. RIP Jane. xxoo

Jane was a lovely woman, I knew her in my youth we went out a few times in High school (I went Chippewa Valley). I have fond memories of her, she will be missed.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Miss Fodale's passing, and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Jane, I remember going to my first concert with you and my sister Jennie. You dressed me up to look older, like the two of you and bought me a NKOTB shirt at the concert. I thought you were so sweet and beautiful and fun. My condolences to your family, you will be missed but not forgotten.

I just heard about the passing of Jane, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Jane in girl scouts with me and pool hopping with her and Laura. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have too many to name, fond memories growing up with Jane as kids living on Regal. From girl scouts and brownies, to sleep overs(even camping out at the Troy Hilton the original one) to name a few. I remember meeting Jane in Edison elementary. I had the biggest crush on her though she never knew. I lived just 2 blocks away so we hung out often. I even did her homework. Lol I remember playing jokes on Sonny with her. Those bright eyes and the smile that could light up a room. I'll miss you Jane ...but I'll love you always!
