
She graduated from Detroit Public schools. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Madonna College. She worked as a programmer for many years despite having cerebral palsy. She loved painting, drawing, old movies, music, and her cat - but most of all, Janet loved her Lord and savior.
Janet faced everyday with courage, humor, and compassion. She inspired those around her. She was quick to make friends and loyal to those fortunate enough to call her friend. She expected little and was grateful for everything she had and for those that helped her.
Janet was preceded in death by her sisters Cathy Reid, and Helen Baker.
Janet is survived by her sisters Angele Blanke, Eleanor (Don) Chomicz, her brother in law Don Baker, her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great niece, and Boots. Janet was laid to rest next to her parents in Olivet Cemetery, Detroit Michigan.
