Janet K. Karle (NEE Young), died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the age of 91. Janet was an active parishioner at St. Lucy Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores for the past 36 years. She was an avid reader and a great bridge player who enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Janet volunteered at Bon Secours Nursing Home in St. Clair Shores. Beloved wife of Joseph Jr. Loving mother of Janet (Jerry) Supina, Marie (James) West, Joseph III, John (Jo-Anne), Bob (Barbara, NEE McSorley), and Tom (Anne). Cherished grandmother of Joe (Cris) Supina, Beth (John) Valdes, Suzie (Steve) Cherney, Jim (Becky) West, Kate (Jeff) Adams, Michael (Malina) Karle, Sarah Karle, Jeff Karle, Brian (Kerry) Karle, David Karle, Steven Karle (fiancee Christa Richert), Lindsey Karle, Benjamin (Nicole) Karle, Bobby Karle, and Danny Karle. Great-grandmother of Kate Valdes, David Valdes, Maria Valdes, Devon Cherney, Josie Cherney, Jimmy Supina, Hunter Karle, Payton Karle, Henry West, Jack West, and Carolyn Adams. Visitation Sunday 1-4 and 6-9 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Rosary 7:00 PM. Instate Monday 9:30 AM until Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 23401 E. Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Father James Commyn will officiate. Burial will be private in Mt.
