Jeanette was born in Detroit on October 17, 1929. Eighty-five years later, on August 20, 2015, she departed this world. Her spirit now resides in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was united in holy matrimony to Frank Domanski, Jr., on August 25, 1951 at Truth Lutheran Church in Detroit, and from that day until her passing they were never apart for as much as a single day. Her mind sharp but her body weak, Frank selflessly devoted himself to caring for her in her final years. Family was everything to Jeanette. Beloved mother of three: David (Jeanne), Annette (Mark) Miller and James (Marie). Grandmother to seventeen: Michael, Paul, David (Kimberley), Austin (Aracely) Ottino, Allen (Jennifer) Ottino, Ariel Ottino, Anna Ottino, Jeffrey (Nicole) Miller, Brandon (Lisa) Miller, James, Megan (Daniel) Zilli, Joseph (Jaclyn), Elise (Mark) Hasiak, Mathew, Alexandra, Grace and John. Great grandmother to nine. Her parents, the late Andrew and Jeanette (nee Wummel) Kerkes. Her in-laws, the late Frank, Sr. and Jean Domanski. Her dear siblings, Vivienne (Lowell) Smith, Elizabeth, Beverley and Allen Kerkes and the late Shirley, Andrew and Laurence. Her sisters-in-law Dorothy (the late Preston) Parsons and Gloria Vazana (Tom). So many cousins, nephews and nieces. She loved you all. Her body rests at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic in Warren. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 to 9 and on Monday from 1 to 9. As a celebration of her life in Christ, there will be a brief service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12 noon. We will then go in procession to Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, where she will be laid to rest.
