Jeffrey J. Santamaria

Jeffrey J. Santamaria, age 45, of Warren passed away August 3, 2019 at his home. He was born January 11, 1974 in Clinton Township, Michigan to Joyce and Leonard Santamaria. Jeff was a lifelong Eastsider, spending his childhood and much of his life living and working in East Detroit. A Shamrock, Jeff graduated from East Detroit High in 1992. It wasnt long after high school Jeff found himself in the family business, North American Coil Company, where he was co-owner with his father, Lenny. Jeff was most recently the owner and President of Draft Pro, where he continued to provide service to many area restaurants and bars for their draft beer and pop systems. Jeff loved being with family and friends, especially spending time up at the family cottages on Wixom Lake. He loved Detroit sports, and being a guys guy Jeff was always good for a good sports talk. His love of sports also drew him to be a constant face at his niece and nephews sporting events, Jenna and Jake were very special to Jeff. Jeff will forever be remembered as a gentle soul, who would give the shirt off his back to his family and friends. His generosity and his sweet disposition will forever be missed by all that knew and loved Jeff. Dearest son of Joyce and Lenny Santamaria. Cherished brother of, Stacy Santamaria. Special uncle to Jake and Jenna Jekielek. Beloved nephew of Barbara OHara, Patricia (Raymond) Dries, Carol Lapinski, George OHara, Jerry (Joanne) OHara, Angela (Tim) Koerner, Joseph (Julie) Santamaria, Mary Helen (Craig) Cebulskie, Bart (Margaret) Santamaria, Joyce Santamaria, and Lisa (Chad) Brines. Also survived by many cousins, relatives and countless friends and business associates. Preceaded in death by his grandparents, George (Viola) OHara and Joseph(Elena) Santamaria. Also preceaded by his Uncles and Aunt, Thomas (Jane) OHara, Edward OHara, and Larry Santamaria. Visitation for Jeff will be held on Thursday, from 1-9pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home of Grosse Pointe Woods, 20705 Mack Avenue (at Vernier). Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Brannon to officiate. Additional visitation from 9-10am on Friday morning prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the wishes of the family.
