Jerome McDonald Seaton

Mr. Seaton was a long time resident of Grosse Pointe Woods until relocating recently to Shorepointe Village in St. Clair Shores. He was a graduate of Denby High School and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He was a retired Naval and Naval Reserve Officer. Mr. Seaton was a 38 year employee with General Motors. He is survived by his brother Robert (Pat) Seaton, son Jay (Sharon) Seaton. He adored his grandchildren Jay C. Seaton, Kate Reno (Nate), and Beth Ansaldi; and great-grandchild Markell Reno. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, a daughter, and friends. Jerome was predeceased by his beloved wife Sally.

 He was a lifelong recreational boater on Lake St. Clair; enjoyed many trips to Scottsdale, Arizona. He enjoyed jewelry making and gave away hundreds of his famous caricature napkin drawings. Mr. Seaton was a longtime lay leader and Sunday School teacher at Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church, where the Sunday School classroom is named after him.
