Joan Bachman Gregory

Joan Bachman Gregory, age 76, of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan died peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She is survived by her sister Anne Clucas (Ted), son Scott A. Gregory II (Jennifer) and grandchildren Anna and Scotty. She was predeceased by her parents Margaret and John Bachman. A Memorial Visitation will be held Monday , November 14, from 2-8 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10 am at St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, 157 Lake Shore Road, Grosse Pointe Farms. Family will receive friends at 9:30 am at Church.

Joan lived a very full and happy life with family and friends. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her kindness, generosity and her loving and forgiving attitude. She enjoyed movies, dining out, boating, skiing, tennis and some travel. She attended church regularly and always went the extra mile putting others before herself. She took pride in her appearance and was always dressed well and neat. Joan was bold, brave and always went after what she wanted. She was a determined negotiator and never took no for an answer.

Joan’s true passion was her family and friends and spending time with her son, Scott, and his family. Her grandchildren, Anna and Scotty, were the light of her life. She especially enjoyed picking Anna up from school and reading stories to Scotty. She was always up for a board game or a fun sleepover. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.
