

Joann is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Michael Kramer; her loving children, Michael Kramer (Linda Nehasil), Mark Kramer (Michelle), Nancy Murlick (Mitchell), and Matt Kramer; loving grandchildren, Megan Kuchta (Patrick), Lauren Kramer, Bradley Kramer, Nicholas Kramer (Allison), Margaret Kramer, Meredith Kramer, Madison Murlick, Mackenzie Murlick, and Kayla Kramer; loving great- grandchildren, Viviane Kutcha, and Aubrey Kuchta; brothers, Richard Diehl (late Jacqueline), Thomas Diehl (Gina), and Jack Diehl (Ellen); and Aunt, Margaret Matyn.
Joann is preceded in death by her loving father Jack Diehl.
Joann was a proud business owner of a retail shop in Grosse Pointe that she ran with her husband, Mike, for 36 years. She liked to show support for her community by organizing various annual events such as Taste of Grosse Pointe and Grosse Pointe’s Greatest Garage Sale. She also volunteered for Crime Stoppers and Pregnancy Aid. Joann was a cherished matriarch who ultimately loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, cooking, and was an avid reader.
Visitation will be held at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236, on July 1, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the Vigil Service at 7:00 pm.
Joann’s Instate will take place at St Lucy Catholic Church, 23401 Jefferson Ave, Saint Clair Shores, MI 48080, on July 2, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
