Joann Sadowski

Joann Sadowski passed away on December 19, 2013 at the Heartland Nursing Care Center in Grosse Pointe Woods at the age of 69. She was born on October 31, 1944 in Detroit; daughter of Charles and Adelaide Conway. Joann married Ronald Sadowski on September 28, 1964 at St. John Catholic Church in Detroit. They enjoyed 49 wonderful years of marriage together. Mrs. Sadowski had a history of numerous illnesses, but her sense of humor and strong spirit helped her to endure throughout. She leaves behind her loving husband Ronald. She was proud of her son Ronald and twin sons Charles and the late Christopher. She adored her grandsons Christopher and Jeff; and her five great-grandchildren. Joann leaves behind her sisters Connie, and Jennie; and brother Joseph. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Jean, Jeanette, Mary, and Charles. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Her funeral service will be held at noon on Monday at the funeral home.
