My heart breaks for Sue and the family. John's always been such a big part of our community. He treated everyone like family and everyone embraced him as part of the family as well. He was kind and generous and always with a smile. We will all miss him.

Know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. John will be missed by all that knew him. We all would like to think that we made a difference in people's lives by our actions and words. John did. May God bless your family at this time and always.

We were saddened to hear of John's passing. Forty-eight years of marriage is a long time to share in each others life. Our sincere sympathy and prayers are extended to you and all family members. May John rest in peace and live within your heart forever.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Sue, Jim, Mary Jo and the entire family. I first met John over 33 years ago when I started at Ford. Although we only worked together for a few years, we remained close friends. He was one of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege to know and consider myself lucky to have him as my friend. He will be missed.

Sue, I am so sorry to hear about John. I’ve known John since 5th grade through our days at Eastern Michigan U. I’m so glad to have known and loved him. He was so special to every one who knew him. Love and hugs to you.

While I did not know John, I am certain that he was a fine gentleman and wonderful life companion for you. He had to be if you chose him for a husband. Sue and Family, Words cannot express my sorrow for your loss. I was friends with John for over 50 years. It was all so sudden. He was so full of life. I will truly miss his wonderful sense of humor. We can all cherish our memories of John.

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. He was one of my cube-mates at Ford Wixom. He was a delight. We all shared a lot of laughs and John could be counted on to add to the merriment. He was clever and always added something original to the conversation. He loved his family and often spoke proudly and lovingly about them. He was a good person to review our program structures in planning systems as well as help debug when things went wrong. My condolences to his entire family.
