Jack, I want to express my condolences to you and your family on your loss of family. May God bless you all with strength and be with you. I had put your Dad in a prayer book at the Basilica in San Juan del Valle by McAllen to pray for him. I will light a candle for him next time.

Not so good news to hear, but Jack was a good guy and he must be in good hands now. He always made me laugh as a kid and and I feel fortunate to be teased by him on my last visit. Jack, I only wished I could tell you now, that you have to stop calling me Timothy, cause now I am in a relationship with a Timothy, and I'm not quite sure how he would feel about that one! Take care over there and my heart goes out to all, for your loss.

Jack & Margaret have been our friends for more than 40 yrs. He was so proud of his children & grandchildren. He lovingly drove Margaret every week and waited for her in to have her hair done. At most he would drink a cup of coffee with a little sweet & low in it. Jack never missed a chance to ask me how MY family was. Just a few weeks before his passing he was still driving Margaret to the salon. He never complained about waiting he would rest in his favorite chair. Jack would be so proud to see his children all rallying around Margaret. All the children live up to the comandment that says Honor you Mother & Father

So much can be said about this wonderful man that I was blessed to have as my Grandfather for almost 35 years. I will forever cherish the time we spent together. We were blessed to know Jack through our dear friends and neighbors Jane and Al Kemp. Jack always had a smile on his face and a kind word. I know he meant the world to his family and the love they shown one another was an inspiration. He defined the word "family", being there for one another. We got to know Jack and Margaret when we moved to Fortuna. They were wonderful neighbors who treated our kids like grandchildren. We all would sit on their porch often in the summertime and just chat. So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He and the family are in our prayers. God bless you.

As a person that rarley got to spend much time with Jack, I never met a cooler guy. Not sure those are approriate words at this time, none the less, he was "cool as a cucumber" to me. I tend have older friends. I like where they've been in life, and the fact they have earned the right to say and do as they please. I'll meet you in Vegas when it's time. Jordan
