
John is survived by his loving companion of 39 years, Nancy (Allor) Lazzaro. His brother James (the late Joyce) Lochridge. His 2 caring nephews, John (Dawn) Lochridge and Jerry (Tammy) Lochridge. He is also survived by his 4 grand nieces Amber, Casey, Emily, and Mackenzie, and his grand nephew Michael. He is preceeded in death by his nephew James A. Lochridge.Â
In 1978, John started his own business, Metro Lock and Safe, which he ran successfully for over 30 years. John loved to travel across the United States with his beloved companion, Nancy. They were fortunate to visit 37 of the 50 states, although, they had hoped to visit them all. John would spend his time at his home in Oscoda watching the birds and deer or swimming in the lake. He always looked forward to eating Nancy’s home cooked meals, either at their home in Michigan or their home in Texas. John was a talented sportsman, playing softball until he was 81 years old. His team won the playoffs and the championship the last year he played for them.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 13, and Thursday, January 14, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, at Masonic, in Warren. The funeral service will be on Friday, January 15, at 11 am. Procession to Resurrection Cemetery to follow.
