Joseph Austin Ball

Joseph A. Ball, age 79, a resident of Warren for over 37 years, passed away on January 18, 2013. Joseph was a US Army Veteran during the Korean War and a pipefitter for General Dynamics Land Systems for over 25 years. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in St. Clair Shores where he drove Sunday school bus and served as Deacon, trustee and church moderator. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline. Loving father of Dennis Ball (Janet), JoEllen Boehm (Steve), and Sue Harrington (Scott). Cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 12 (with one on the way). Brother of Frank Ball (Sally) of Everett, PA and Gloria Rinker (Carl) of Claysburg, Pa. Visitation Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic, Warren. Funeral Wednesday 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church, 24600 Little Mack Avenue, St. Clair Shores. Family will greet guests from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the church. Interment Christian Memorial Cultural Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Macomb Christian Schools or a charity of one's choice.
