I'll always remember Uncle Joe's visits to Delaware, swimming in the pool in Uncle Joe's back yard, and mixing Uncle Rocky and Uncle Joe up at a distance, because they looked like twins to me.

I will never forget my brother Joe. Although we didn't see each other very often, we talked on the phone a lot. I will always remember how he greeted me with the words "Hello sister of mine," and I immediately knew it was Joe. When he was a young boy living in Sicily, we called him the "dare devil" because he was not afraid of anything. He loved jumping from the rocky point into the ocean. I also remember Joe, his brothers, and all their friends sneaking into the basement to drink my father's homemade wine! Joe was the most kind, sensitive and good-hearted man I have ever known. I will miss you, Joe. I love you. Your sister, Lena.

I will always remember Uncle Joe as quiet, kind, and sensitive man. When I was a child, I remember how much he enjoyed being "twins" with Uncle Rocky and fooling me and my cousins. He had the best laugh! I always appreciated that he came out to Delaware for the special occasions of his Delaware side of the family. He always took the time to talk with each one of us when he visited. He was dearly loved and will be missed. Good bye Uncle Joe. With love, Connie.

My grandfather was the best! He was a happy, kind hearted, caring, and loved man. I never saw him angry or upset. He always made me laugh and cracked jokes all the time. He touched my life in so many ways and was ALWAYS the life of the party. He always had something uplifting and hilarious to say. He will be missed dearly, but his spirit will live on and be cherished through each and every one of us. I love you Papa.

I will always remember Joe as a third grandfather. He taught Melissa and I how to ride tricycles, took us fishing, and always put a smile on our faces. His Christmas displays lit up the whole street during the holidays. If anyone ever needed anything, you could always count on Joe. Thanks for the good memories Joe. You will be missed in our hearts.

Life and death are one, as the river and sea are one. I cherish the moments we shared in time and await those of the eternal, where we shall fish at the grandest of lakes.
