Juanito Collamar

Jun was born on June 1, 1959 in San Antonio, Northern Samar, Philippines. He received his bachelor's degree in Law from San Sebastian College in Manila, Philippines. On December 19,1985 he married Maria Georgia Collamar. They raised one son, Christian (Job), and two daughters, Joy and Jane.

Jun had a passion for gardening along with his wife. They were always found working on their garden together on the weekends. He took part in activities like basketball and bowling in the past. He was a devoted Catholic. He was known for being reserved but when others needed help he was one to count on.

Juanito was preceded in death by his father Juanito Sr, his mother Conchita, his sisters Luisto, Leila, Maritess, and his wife Maria Georgia. He is survived by his three children, Job, Joy, and Jane, his sisters Juchita and Susan, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Juanito will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan 48236. A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 16, 2021 at 12:00 PM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake Street, Saint Clair Shores, MI 48080.
