I just found out. I am so sad. I am her cousin, Michael Kowalik, and Pooter and I were inseparable best friends in our early 20's. I got married, she got married, and we went off to live our lives with our spouses. The band use to practice in her basement at her moms house pretty much every day. I drove a truck for a living and would pick her up every morning and she would just drive around with me all day. It was because of her I learned to trust another human being with all my heart. She was my best friend during that era, and I will never forget even one memory of the fun we had from throwing a party to just hanging out with friends watching the newest VHS movie. Pooter was the warmest, kindest, most caring beautiful human being I have ever placed in my heart. I am so upset about her passing because I thought an angel could never pass. Even though I haven't seen her in quite some time, when I found out, I felt like a piece of the goodness in this world was ripped right from us. She will always be in my heart. I wish I could have said goodbye. Love forever, Mikos. (That was the name she always called me).

My deepest regretes to all of you. I met Julie at around age 18 and during that time I have the fondest and funiest memories of my life. We both did a horrible job of staying in touch but with no doubt we still cared. To a great mom and great wife Julie, I hope you are surrounded by Angels and love.

I am so sorry you are gone. I do wish things were different. Fly with the angels.

I'm soooo sorry, I've been robbed this past year of our funny times chillin by the fire pit, late night conversations, goofin off in the dollhouse...now I'll never have the chance to make our wrongs right, I'm sooo sorry, this wasn't suppose to happen to you, especially so soon, I miss & regret your gone! To my beautiful and courageous cousin, Julie or Jewels which I always preferred to call you. I am so sorry that you lost your battle. May you now rest in peace with all the special angels waiting to greet you. I have truly been blessed to have had you in my life and thank you for helping make all the wonderful memories we've shared, especially those throughout our childhood. I will treasure them always!!!
