Kathleen M Tomaszycki

Kathleen Tomaszycki (nee: Monahan), age 60, of Gladwin Michigan passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was born on July 4th, 1961 in Grosse Pointe, MI to John and Barbara (nee: Fettig) Monahan.

Kathleen’s greatest joy was that of her family and loved spending time with her husband and children. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and had made the pilgrimage to Emerald Isle in 1986. She enjoyed exploring various antique shops with her friends, and collected Snow Buddies figurines. As one who cherished time with family, she adored family vacations to Northern Michigan and Mackinaw Island.

She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Tomaszycki; her three cherished children, Gregory, Julie, and Bridget; her mother, Barbara Monahan; six brothers and sisters, Michael, Barbara, Trisha, Mary, John and Tim. She is also survived by numerous extended family and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16th, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Rosary service at 7 PM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). Kate will lie instate at 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral Mass at 10 AM on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (467 Fairford Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
