Kelly is survived by her life partner Robert Ireson. Robert and Kelly were blessed to have shared 7 joyful years together. She is the beloved daughter of Delores and step daughter to the late Keith Lenn. She is the cherished sister of Michael (Andrea) Wolf and the caring aunt to their children, Blake and Scarlett. She will be missed by her father Steven (Erin) Wolf and her half-brother Connor Wolf. Kelly will be missed dearly by many friends and family.
Family always came first to Kelly and she spent most of her time taking care of those she loved. Her selfless giving and generous nature made her a compassionate caretaker. She cared deeply about all animals and dedicated herself to keeping them safe. Kelly could never say no to an animal in need and found herself fostering stray cats and nursing them back to health. She would spend time raising butterflies to release in the spring. Last spring she raised over 150 Monarch and Swallowtail butterflies to release back into the wild.
Being passionate about animals led her to start a vegetarian lifestyle while she was in high school. She would combine this love for animals and her love for her family by cooking them her wonderful vegetarian meals. Bringing her family together with her home cooked holiday dinners was one of her specialties.
Kelly was an artist at heart and was talented in many forms. She graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts in Fashion Design. Her creativity was expressed through her drawings and her jewelry making. She also conveyed her artistic personality through her gothic clothing and makeup. She would spend time with like-minded people, like her dear friend Davie. Music was an important part of her life and hearing her sing put a smile on anyone’s face. Art was only one of the many things Kelly was gifted in. During her time at Wayne State University she was a part of the Honors College and received multiple scholarships.
In lieu of flowers the family deeply appreciates any donations made to one of Kelly’s favorite charities, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
