Kenneth O'Brien

Kenneth C. O'Brien died on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the age of 91. Kenneth served in the Army Air Corp during World War II as a pilot. He married Lorraine on December 26, 1941 at Gratiot Baptist Church in Detroit. He loved bowling, reading, softball and taught adult Sunday School at Cornerstone Baptist Church. For over 50 years Kenneth was a carpenter and was owner of O'Brien Builders Construction Company. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine. Loving father of Kenneth L. (Sandy), Terry (Ruthanne), and Barb (Ron) Pokley. Cherished grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 6. Brother of Shirley Vickers, Wilfred, Beverly Sinclair, Gerald, and the late Alma Kelly and Robert. Brother-in-law of Irene and Muriel. Visitation Monday, April 25, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Instate Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 10:00 am until time of funeral 11:00 am at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 17017 Twelve Mile Rd., Roseville, MI 48066. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery will be private.
