Kimberly Ann Detrick

Kimberly Ann Detrick (Dembeck) 65 of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan passed peacefully on March 8, 2022 surrounded by her husband and children. Loving wife of Lawrence Detrick for 41 glorious years, dear mother of Jared (Taryn) Detrick and Chelsea (Bryan Rodgers) Detrick, cherished grandmother of Ava Grace and the late Palmer Jones. Beloved sister of Monica (Christopher) Squarcia, Christopher (Nancy) Dembeck and Mark (Carla) Dembeck. Loving aunt so many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her father Frank Dembeck and mother Sylvia.

Kim was dedicated to her medical career in nursing at Harper Hospital for 30+ years. She was her children’s biggest sports fan and loved going on road trips to cheer them on. Kim had an endless love for the sun and water. She enjoyed spending her weekends on the waters of Lac Sainte Claire with her family and friends. Many memories were made vacationing with her family in Lupton and Port Sanilac that will forever be engrained in her family’s minds and hearts.

In her spare time Kim enjoyed gardening and decorating her home, to perfection, for all seasons. Kim was loved by so many and will truly be missed by all.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers donations be made to a Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.

Memorial Greeting will be held on Saturday April 16th from 1:00pm until 7:00pm with a memorial service at 6:00pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack , Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, 48236.
