3 years and it seems like yesterday. Your boys are doing wonderfully, you would be so proud. Wish you were with us, we really need you.

There wasn't a brighter star in our lives than Leigh. She was always up and always pushing all of us to do our best. She will be deeply, deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Michael and Eric.

Ms. Leigh, She was my second mother. I have learned so much from this beautiful woman. She is the strongest woman I have ever met in my entire life. I was so surprised to hear that she was sick because she was always so full of life. Living with a smile on her face. She called me the daughter she never had. I could talk to her about anything. She always understood and helped me through so many tribulations in my life. She raised my two best friends. I have grown up with Ms. Leigh for the past 7 years and I would not be who I am today with out her. I am going to miss her so very much. It is like losing my own mother. She will be in my heart and thoughts until the day I die. I love you Ms. Leigh. You will never be forgotten.

Dear Michael and Eric - Your mother will be missed by so many people. You are blessed to have had such a wonderful person start you on your pathy through life. What I remember, most, is Leigh's sense of humor and her devotion to the two of you. Leigh would come into the office, always with a smile and a funny quip. You two boys were much the same... blond, smiling, and happy - so much like your Mom. Go forward, remembering the lessons your mother taught you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I didnt know Mrs. Leigh that long but it sure felt like it. Every time i saw her... she always had a smile on her face. No matter what was going on. She was an amazing woman...i loved just sitting in the living room talking to her about anything and everything. I'm going to miss her very much. But even though she is not her physically...she is still with us in spirit.

Dear Michael, Eric, Matthew, John and Mary Beth; We are so saddened by the passing of Leigh. She was always on the up side of life and such a joy to visit with on Tuesdays when all the 'special ed' kids would meet for bowling. You all had such a wonderful mom, and sister. My sincere condolences to family and friends of Leigh Ann. We were classmates in high school and I remember Leigh Ann as always being a very friendly, happy person. She always went out of her way to be kind to everyone. I am certain her kindness and spirit will continue to be present through her children. May she watch over her children forever.

Mike and Eric, I am so very sorry. Your Mother was a great inspriation to us all. Justin is holding his Saturday morning chat before camp so close to his heart. I will never forget the first time I met her in kindergarten. I had so much fun subbing with her last year. She was a wonderful person who I never heard be negitive. No one else could explain things quit like her. Just remember you two were always first and formost in her thoughts of everything she did. She loved you very much. Ms. Leigh was wonderful with the preschoolers she had over the years. She was so involved with each of the kids. She would do everything they did and really made each child feel great about themselves. My daughter was in her class a couple of years ago but she fell in love with Ms. Leigh even before she was in her class. She was in the room next door the year before and we could not leave until she stopped to get a hug from Ms. Leigh every day. Leigh was never annoyed by the interruption. It is obvious by all of these notes that she made a tremendous impact on a lot of people during her lifetime. She will be missed by everyone who ever had an opportunity to meet her.

She has a face of light and is the calm within any storm. Gentle stranger, earth angel- without ego or expectation only dreams and hope for those she loves, and she loves many... but many more love and adore her. when our hope is lost, it is her smile, her indifference to all fear and chaos, that opens each of us to the greatest love of all. Her love and legacy teach us only what we should give, not what we can take. Her inner grace is our light in the dark- her flame is eternal.
