Dear Joswick Family, Leonard was a very special man to me, I cleaned his home for him, but more than that, he quickly became much more than a customer, We also had many great talks on the screened in porch, He had many great stories about his family, & he was so proud of all of them,I also used to tell him that coming over was like getting a history lesson every couples of weeks, I will miss him very very much,If any of you need anything at all please let me know.Jay knows how to reach me. Leonard was my next door neighbor for three years. He was a sweet man. Any time he would see me doing yard work, he would call me over to his back patio to take a rest and chat. I knew he was on the back porch enjoying the weather when I could smell his cigar! It made me smile. I tried to keep an eye on him. He would often take his garbage bag to the garage at night. I didn't want to startle him, so I just watched him as he made his way to the garage and back to the house. I knew he was safe when he turned off the light. I didn't know Leonard for long and I didn't know him very well. But even watching him from afar, he was an inspiration to me that even at 100, life was still worth living. He showed me that. I will miss him.

Dear Joswick Family, I never knew Mr. Joswick, and I'm sad to say I never had the chance. From what I hear he was a great man. David is a friend of mine from school and what he's said about the love for his great grandfather, as well as the heartfelt comments on this page - I'm inclined to believe it was my loss. I'm aware that you don't know me but I urge you that if there is anything at all I could do to help please contact me, especially if you'd like someone to pray with. All of you are in my prayers. Dear Family, Great Grandpa and I were very close. I remember a couple years ago when I was up here, I interviewed him asking questions about what it was like for him growing up. He told me a lot of fascinating things. We always used to have a lot of jokes together. There will always be certain things that remind me of him and will leave a smile on my face. He will forever be in our hearts. We love you Great Grandpa.
