Linda S. McGinnis

Linda S. McGinnis died on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the age of 67. She was born on Friday, August 5, 1949 in Hazel Park, Michigan. Linda is the daughter of Wayne Lacey and Phyllis Etta Ragsdale. Linda started working for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in the mid 1960's and retired in 2008. She was a member of the Skis and Tees Club and in her spare time enjoyed gardening and researching genealogy. She was an animal lover that owned several dogs and cats through her years, but she especially loved her grandchildren and watching them grow up. Linda is survived by her "Trusty Sidekick" June Brent for over 17 years. She is the loving mother of Beth Jacobs, Joy (Gary) Pedersen, Floyd "Matt" McGinnis, and the late Misty McGinnis. Cherished grandmother of Brittany Merrell, Alysha (Tim) Moslander, Zachary (Andrea) Thomas, David Jacobs, Dylan Thomas, Shane Pedersen, Dustin Miller, and Cameron Pedersen. Great-grandmother of 10. Sister of the late Ronald Ragsdale and the late Gloria Ragsdale. Aunt of Leanne Salzbrenner and Christopher Salzbrenner. Visitation Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 2:00 pm until time of the funeral service 7:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Memorial contribution to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure would be appreciated.
