in Mount Clemens. Lindsay Rose died suddenly at the age of 37 surrounded by her loving
family after a battle with COVID-19. She graduated as a medical assistant from Dorsey in 2011,
followed by a decade-long career at Sterling Heights Urgent Care as a medical assistant and
assistant manager. Lindsay worked on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic testing and
taking care of patients.
Lindsay was an avid reader and Aldi lover. She would brighten anyone’s day with her animated
story telling, literal interpretation of humor and blunt honesty. Lindsay had a memory like a steel
trap—when it came to childhood memories, Lindsay could remember every detail, down to
what she was wearing and what she was thinking at that point in time. Her laughter was
contagious and lives on in the memory of everyone who had the opportunity to experience it.
Lindsay was born on November 2, 1984 in Grosse Pointe, and is survived by her two
daughters, Faith Rose and London Rose Jones, parents Martin and Lezlie Setchell, three
sisters, Elysse (Austin) Freshour, Libby (Kameron) Fisher, and Alexandria Setchell, grandmother,
Gayle Setchell, and two nieces, Liliana and Kenna Freshour.
Lindsay's visitation will take place from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on January 15, 2022 immediately
followed by her memorial service at 12 p.m. at A H Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave,
Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to
help her children transition into adulthood at: https://gofund.me/fb535d03
